NexAgent Start free trial
For roofing contractors

Miss the call. They still get a text back.

Calls to your NexAgent number ring your mobile first. When you can't pick up, the caller gets a text back with your booking link, nights and weekends included. When a job is marked done, that customer can get a text asking for a Google review.

The problem

A homeowner who gets voicemail can just call the next roofer.

01

You can't answer from a roof

Calls come in while you're on a job, driving, or done for the day. Voicemail gives the caller nothing to do next except try someone else.

02

Asking for reviews slips

Your Google reviews are what a homeowner sees when they look you up. Asking every customer by hand is easy to forget at the end of a long job.

How it works

Your number rings you. A missed call gets a text.

01

Rings your mobile first

Calls to your NexAgent number ring your mobile for about 18 seconds, set to stop before a phone's voicemail usually picks up. Answer, and it's a normal call.

02

Texts the caller back

If you don't answer, the caller hears a short automated voice line saying a text is on the way, then gets one with your booking link. It sends one text, not a conversation.

03

Can ask for the review

For a customer who first reached you through your NexAgent number: a set number of days later (3 unless you pick another number), if the job is marked done, they get a text with your Google review link.

Examples

What happens in six common cases

The texts below are examples. Each reply is written fresh for the caller, but two parts are fixed: it says it's an automated assistant, and it includes "Reply STOP to opt out." The rest follows set rules: include your booking link, and give no prices, no diagnosis and no arrival times.

Missed call · 9:47 PM

Your mobile rings and you don't answer. The caller hears: "Sorry we missed you. We're sending you a text right now so you can tell us what you need."

This is the automated assistant for [your roofing company]. Hi there, thanks for calling. We got your call and the office will confirm a time. Pick one here: [your booking link] Reply STOP to opt out.
A homeowner texts your number
Hi, I've got a leak over the garage. How much would a repair run?
Hi there, thanks for the message. This is the automated assistant for [your roofing company]. The office will go over pricing with you once they've seen it. Pick a time here and they'll confirm: [your booking link] Reply STOP to opt out.
You answer the call

It's a normal phone call. No text is sent. A call counts as missed only if it isn't answered, the line is busy or the call fails.

Same person calls again an hour later

No second text. Each caller gets at most one automatic text in 12 hours, so nobody gets texted twice. That also means a reply they send within those 12 hours doesn't get an automatic answer.

They reply "please don't text me again"

They get no more automatic texts from your number, including the review request. "STOP" works, and so do plain requests like this one.

The job is marked done
Hi there, thanks for having us out. If the crew did right by you, would you mind leaving a quick Google review? Takes about 30 seconds: [your review link] If anything was not right, reply here instead and we will sort it. Reply STOP to opt out.

This wording is fixed, not written fresh. It is sent only during legal texting hours for the customer's state and time zone: 8am to 8pm in most states.

Built for how you run jobs

No phone tree. No call center. No contract to get stuck in.

Works alongside your crew

It texts back the callers who would have reached voicemail. It doesn't replace anyone on your team.

A number of your own

We set up a dedicated number for your business that forwards to your mobile. It has to be verified before it can text anyone, usually 3-5 business days.

You set the rules

Your booking link, review link and after-hours message are set up with you before anything goes live.

Cancel anytime

No long-term contract. If it's not saving you jobs, you're not locked in.

Pricing

$297 a month.

One plan. No setup fee, no contract, no card to start. You cancel by email.

What you get

  • A dedicated number that rings your mobile
  • A text back with your booking link when a call is missed or someone texts the number
  • A Google review request text after a job is marked done
  • Setup done with you: your booking link, review link and after-hours note

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't answer calls. A caller you miss hears one short automated line, nothing more
  • It doesn't book appointments or read your calendar. The caller picks a time with your booking link and your office confirms it
  • It doesn't hold a text conversation: one automatic reply per caller in 12 hours
  • Nothing goes on your website. It runs on a new number, not the one you have now

How the trial works

  1. 1. You sign up. No card.
  2. 2. Your new number gets verified so it can send texts. That usually takes 3-5 business days.
  3. 3. Your 14 free days start the day the number goes live, not the day you sign up.
  4. 4. Since there's no card on file, nothing is charged automatically when the trial ends.

Questions

Before you reply

Does this replace my office staff? +

No. It sends one text back to a caller you missed, with your booking link. Your office still confirms times, answers questions and does everything else.

When does my free trial start? +

The day your number goes live, not the day you sign up. Your new number has to be verified before it can text anyone back, and that usually takes 3-5 business days. Your 14 free days start once it is live.

What happens after the free trial? +

You decide if it's worth $297/month for your business. No card is needed to start the trial, so nothing is charged automatically. If you want to keep it, tell us and we'll set up billing. If not, the service stops.

Will homeowners know they're talking to an AI? +

Yes. Every automatic text says it's the automated assistant for your business, and it is told never to claim to be a person. Each one also says how to opt out: reply STOP.

What happens to my business data? +

It's used only to run your service, and it's never sold or used for advertising. Your setup details and your callers' messages are kept in NexAgent's records in Google Sheets. They pass through the services that run it: Twilio for calls and texts, Groq for writing replies, n8n to connect them, Stripe for billing and Google for email. Calls are not recorded. The privacy policy has the details.

How do I cancel? +

Email mate@getnexagent.com. There's no cancellation fee.

Stop losing jobs to voicemail.

14 days free, starting the day your number goes live. No card required. Email us and we'll get your number set up.
